Department staff visit to the city of Khiva
Today, tourism is one of the fastest-growing and leading industries in terms of income. In recent years, tourism has made a huge contribution to world exports and accounts for 11% of the world’s gross domestic product. Over the past 40 years, the number of tourists visiting other countries has increased 20 times, tourism revenue has increased 60 times, and international tourism revenue has reached $400 billion.
In particular, the successes achieved in Uzbekistan are based on the deepening of economic liberalization, the modernization of the country, and the sustainable development of all sectors, including tourism, one of the leading sectors of the service sector.
Also, the adoption of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 7, 2018 No. PP-3514 “On Measures for the Accelerated Development of Domestic Tourism” became one of the important events in the social life of our country. Thanks to this decision, wide opportunities have been created for many of our compatriots to travel around our country in our country, where domestic tourism is constantly developing.

In total, there are 180 elderly people in the “Republican Boarding House for War and Labor Veterans,” of which 82 are men and 98 are women.
At the end of the visit, our respected elders expressed their best wishes and gratitude to the staff of the Tashkent Medical Academy and the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
